Feeling lost...

Feeling lost...

I don't really have a question, not really sure what I am looking for....
10 months ago I lost my only sibling, we were not overly close but it was still a shock, it was very sudden.. 2 days ago I lost my best friend in the world to Breast cancer and I am absolutely heart broken. I moved to where I am now living only 2 years ago and really have no friends here, most of the contact I have with friends is through FB, I am a single mum with 2 young kids so my social life is non existent.. I have no body really to talk to. My mum is here but with my sisters anniversary coming up I don't want to burden her. I love the IM's on here and I guess I am just looking for a few encouraging words..

So sorry for your losses. Have you thought about talking to a counsellor. It's only natural that you'd be feeling a bit lost at the moment.

Hey
It is really tough what you are going through. Do try talking to your Mum as you have each other for support and I assume both going through a really tough time, you will feel closer to her if you do. I guess all I can say is grief is a totally normal and universal human experience. The fact that everyone goes through it at some point was a weird comfort to me when I lost my Mum to breast cancer. Sometimes I decided to open up to new friends about how tough it was without my Mum and it was remarkable how many also shared their similar stories of grief and loss with me. Turns out there are plenty of people going through the same thing- just not talked about so much. Sending hugs and know that you are not alone xxxxxxxxxxxx
