Not quite a question, but I'm just putting out feelers hoping the wonderful Mum who helped me reads this....
I travelled from Brisbane to Townsville on a JetStar flight at 6am on Monday the 29th of June. My daughter and I were seated in row 21.
To the wonderful woman seated beside us who put up with my idle chit chat (sorry, I'm not good at small talk), ordered the hot water for my tea and let me nap on the tray table (and using the dressing gown on it was an awesome idea!) without chastising me - I just want to thank you. From the bottom of my heart. Not only had you had a rough morning and a long sleepless night with your child, but you helped another Mum in need when she was too proud to admit she needed help.
I don't do well with travel (especially with such little sleep), and I'm sure the lemon and ginger tea showed that. Miss almost-3's tantrum as we landed was horrendous. Thank you for putting up with that and, when I kept apologising, just accepting it as something that happens with kids. Thank you for putting my daughters shoes and socks back on when all she wanted was a cuddle from Mummy, and I was obviously going to struggle with both. Thank you for helping us off the plane and into the terminal, and helping me gather all our stuff, even though you had a big day of work ahead of you in a strange city.
I was so worried whoever I was seated with was going to be irritated by the fact I had a child with me, but you were amazing and have shown me that there are sympathetic people at 6am!
I hope that you had a good day at work, the downtime you deserved, a safe flight back, and a complete night sleep with your little boy. From one Mum to another, thank-you.

Awwwwwwwww. That made my heart sing, I sure hope your day improved after that, and I'm sure that lovely lady will have some warm fuzzies to know that she helped you so much.
