My sister has been having flashbacks of being abused by our uncle. Now she is starting to remember more and more each day and it is taking a toll on her life. She is living in Perth atm and I would like to send her something she can look at or read to give her strength during hard times Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't want to sound rude or dismiss her claims of abuse but is she on any medication? I had flash backs of being rapped by a family member and it sent me bonkers, I couldn't eat or sleep and wouldn't see my family because I thought they were lying to me and trying to protect the "rapist". In actuality the prescription medication I was on sent me into phycosis. Just be an ear to listen.
Healing can only come from within , it's a decision to forgive both yourself and the offender .. Councilling or seeing a phychologist does help .. Some good sites to help are .. Dream catchers for the abused ,
