Looking for hope.....

I posted the other day asking about some fun ways to tell my partner we are expecting a rainbow baby after our stillborn child earlier this year.

I've just been to the bathroom and have noticed some spotting......I'm gutted!!!

Is it possible to have implantation bleeding after a positive test? I haven't ever had it before. Have you ever had bleeding this early (AF was due four days ago) and everything been ok?

I have another test and will take it in a week or so, but I really need to hear some positive stories. I just don't know if I can handle another loss

I didn't get the chance to tell my other half either.....do I tell him now?

Hey mumma! This might be a bit annoying of me but please keep positive! I had the same thing happen to me and I went on to have a beautiful baby boy! Please don't worry yet! Although my baby was prem, I was still pregnant and it scared the shit out of me getting that spotting! I really hope it's just something unremarkable for you too... Good luck! Thinking of you! Xx

Oh I can understand why you're so stressed! Poor thing! Is it brown or red blood? Brown is old and might be leftover implantation bleed or something like that.

Either way, tell hubby. If it is a miscarriage you are probably going to need him. Don't go through this alone xxxxx

I'm not sure if this will help but i bled throughout my whole pregnancy with my 3rd baby. She was born a few weeks early but perfectly healthy. Hopefully it's just a bit of old blood. Tell your hubby, you shouldn't have to deal with this alone. Best of luck would love to be kept posted.

OP here......I went to the doctor today and had a blood test. Will have another on Wednesday to see what my levels are doing.

I am holding onto the slim hope that everything will be ok and that there is only so much sadness someone can be dealt in one year as I have heard many stories that this can happen and everything be ok, but I am also a realist and although trying to stay positive I am preparing for bad news.

I told my amazing other half who, as always, knew just what to say to make me feel a bit better. He really is awesome!

Thanks for your support.....will post again here when I get my results on Thursday xo

I had bleeding with my 1st born & he is now 16. I had heavy bleeding with my 3rd & she is now 3. I had a miscarriage before I went on the have 3 healthy babies. Make an appt with your doctor & they will most likely send you for blood tests to check your hcg levels are rising. I would tell your other half, don't go through this stress alone.

I had bleeding at 9 weeks, quite heavy, I went to hospital and they did a scan and bub was fine but it was a very long wait all weekend on bed rest for another scan. Over the weekend I passed a large clot and thought for sure bub was gone. Monday morning went for another scan and he was still there and fine! It was a very scary time but my baby is here and is now 4 months old! Unfortunately you already know that's not the case all the time but don't lose hope yet! Good luck! Will be thinking of you!
