HELP PLEASE

My eldest son is 20 months old, he refuses to let me put a nappy on him and we are struggling to potty train him as he is to big for a normal potty (the ones where u empty the tray thingy) but he is also scared of the normal toilet I am honestly starting to loose my mind over it because I don't know what to do :(

Put a nappy on him, put him in an all in one swim suit (with the zip up the back) so he can't get it off. He does not get a choice. Yes he will throw a tantrum, but this is life and he will get past it if you are consistent and stand your ground.
Then get one of those super duper toilet seats. Gradually slowly get him desensitised to the toilet by being around the toilet and giving him access to things he loves. Take it slowly.

Let him choose a kids mini- toilet seat, mine was happy once she chose it and she only chose the white $5 one

At that age kids love a bit of INDEPENDANCE so I'd be buying one of those steps for the toilet. That way he can do it himself. I think it is so much less confronting when they are in control... Toilet training is scary business :-) definately helps if they can go at their own pace and also I think 20 months is a good age for toilet training. Good luck mumma :-)
