Hi IMs. I'm after some advice on night time toilet training. I have 2 girls 4 and 5. Decided to take both girls out of nappies about 3 months ago. My 4 year old has done wonderfully but my 5 year old is still wetting the bed the majority of the time. I'm not worried, I know every child is different and she was difficult to toilet train in the first place. My question is... do you think she's just not ready and should I put her back in nappies? I just feel as though it's taking a step back and I don't want to hurt her confidence if she still has to be in nappies when her younger sister doesn't. I've tried waking her during the night (doesn't work, she's a deep sleeper) tried restricting fluids before bedtime, they both go to the toilet half an hour before bed and again right before bed. I'm just so sick of washing sheets! And when should I start to be concerned and seek help from the gp?

Put her back in nappies. If she is still wetting at around 8 years old then I'd take her to the doctor as that's the are they are officially considered a bed wetter.
Don't sweat the small stuff, its definitely not a step back putting night nappies back on. And 5yrs old is not an issue either you will find she will be out of night nappies with in 6 -12 months.
