Ladies give me some carrier ideas! I'm going through a midlife crisis! I'm a single full time mum. I haven't worked for 2 years and want more to my life. I use to work in the animal industry but I don't think I want to do that any more. But I have know idea what I want to do. I'm at a cross road right now. So give me some ideas and I'll see if it's some thing I would like to do. Thanks in advance x

Interesting way to choose a career!
Medical - reception, dental nurse, blood collector, aged care, nursing, birth doula,
Child care, teachers aide, family day care operator, teach a class or club,
social worker, counselor, womens shelter, children in need, charities, food hamper charities,
Chef, baker, florist, scientist, translator, writer, masseuse, trades - plumber, mechanic, electrician.
Alternatively, imagine an industry you love. For example events. Then imagine every role within that industry, ground crew, face to face customer service, phone customer service, admin, marketing, communications, post, HR, health and safety, legal, IT, management, warehouse, logistics, training, finance, and see where you see yourself fitting in best considering your skills, natural strengths and interests.
Personally i did this, i started work, then started studying to get into the area I wanted ( which changed as i studied) then found the industry I love and had a skill to be able to fit into it where I wanted to be.
Good luck! Dont forget to be flexible as you find the way.
