I'll be turning 40 soon... I have two young children, including a baby. I really don't like the idea of shipping the kids off to friends or relatives for the night, but I want to do something exciting to mark the occasion. Not really into hosting a party. I live in Sydney. What have others done to celebrate this milestone?

I would go all out for 40! Something memorable, a short cruise, a nice dinner and a big night out, find a show to go to, do a skydive or bunjee jump and make an event of it with friends. Browse adrenalin or red balloon for ideas.
