My eldest son is 2 and a half, nappies are to small for him and he refuses to use the toilet for me, most the time he spends outside (20 acre property) without a nappy on but he won't pee or poo unless he has a nappy on everything we do isn't working. His daddy (my husband) even is getting frustrated about it as we have tried everything in our power to toilet train him but its not workimg

He obviously isn't ready. Don't force it. We tried with our son when he was 2.5 and we got no where. I gave up and tried again a year later and he was trained and out of nappies during the day within 2 weeks.
Go with pull ups, or night time pull ups, they are much bigger than normal nappies.
Also a step between toilet training, might work for him. Like some kids who are resistant will ask for a nappy to pee/poop in, which shows some awareness. So if he does ask for a nappy then put a nappy on him.
Next step is to give him a nappy when he asks but on the condition he wears it in the toilet.
2.5 is still pretty young for boy. Lots of kids are trained by then but definitely not all of them... it's not strange AT ALL for him to not be ready.
Have you tried the biggest size of nappy? They are for 17-25kg or something? Is he bigger than that? Pull ups? Surely he fits some nappies! Otherwise cloth nappies. He needs more time. He will eventually learn try to stay positive :)
He is almost 30 kilos and the height of a 4 year old, he is a big boy
Wow! My daughter is 3 and taller then most of the girls in her 6 year old brothers class but she still only weighs 16kg & my very tall 6 year old weighs 22kg
My son wasn't ready at two and half, when he turned 3 I bought him character underwear and basically told him big boy three year olds wear jocks and he was literally done in a couple of days. He wet himself once or twice and couldn't stand the feel of it. The night nappy came off very soon after. The extra six months worked wonders for him.
Nappies are too small? They have pull on night time nappies for 8 year olds so I'm sure you can find something to for him. Good luck.
