I just wanted to ask if anyone has done an online degree in naturopathy... did you have to attend the college at some stage and did you have to intern and if so how long for? At the moment I live in Cairns and I am a working single mother of a 7 year old. I have worked in pharmacy for 12 years and have a great boss who is very flexible but have always wanted to study naturopathy. I worry that I will have to attend the college in Brisbane or elsewhere as I don't make a lot on my current income and I have absolutely no one to look after my boy if it is required. Is there options to be able to the full course from ones home town? If you have to intern, how many hours are required?
Any info is greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I had a quick look for you and I couldn't find anything online for Naturopathy :( I live in cairns too and understand how frustrating it is when it comes to study options! There's basically nothing up here. We need a new uni that offers lots of courses like Brisbane etc. I prefer to study on campus too, I struggle externally to actually do study. But now I have a baby I'll only really be able to do external otherwise I'd never be able to afford the day care :(
Search in SEEK they have the list of courses available. It's 1 year full time, 2 years part time there is a course you can do online.
There is no internships etc because they aren't doctors
