Skydiving for my partner.

Skydiving for my partner.

Please don't post to facebook.

Okay ladies, my fiancè and I are going away this weekend, so unfortunately this question being posted to facebook would be pointless as I need advice ASAP.

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and have the most amazing fiancè, he is constantly doing everything as I always feel like crap. We recently had a bit of an argument and he said he feels like I don't make an effort any more. Which I must admit, I haven't been doing much other than doing everything for our 4 year old and sleeping.

Now since this argument I've definitely tried to get my butt into gear and make more of an effort which leads to my now question, we're heading for a family weekend away this weekend and he has always wanted to try skydiving. I've looked at tickets and they are $388 marked down from $660..
I only have about $500 in savings, but it is something he would love to try, with a second child on the way I don't see it happening after bub is here for quite some time.
We are in no means well off, but we make do and our son never goes without, neither do we to an extent.

Is it possible to book for just one person or do you need a group?
Is it a good idea for an early Christmas present or maybe going a little over board?

These skydiving activities at our home town rarely get discounted like the ones at our holiday destination, so he will need to pay full price here.
I am petrified of heights, so even if I had the money, I would never join him up there lol plus I will be looking after our son.

Thankyou for any advice x

What a lovely idea for your partner. If you can afford it, and if you think it is something he would like, then I say go ahead and do it. I'm sure he will appreciate it. You should be able to book only one ticket - I have done so before. Don't be too hard on yourself though. Running around after a four year old when pregnant is tiring, and it's ok to ask him to pick up the slack for now. You are growing a human being there mama x

Do it!! I did. Was the same, felt i needed to try and he needed something really nice he never had big money spent on him. We said it was a picnic and he really thought a picnic by a river then we kept driving i said i know a nice river for an extra special treat. Then halfway there i told him. Oh in two hours youll be in an aeroplane in the sky getting ready to jump out of it.
He needed some time to come to terms with it it was perfect.
It was the best day. So memorable.

Thank you so much ladies! I took your advice and booked him in on Saturday. I can't wait to watch him!! And I'm sure he will love the surprise as he has always wanted to try it ?

He will get 70 seconds free fall from 15,000 feet high, 150 photos and a HD video on USB! I'm so excited I can barely keep the secret ?

Thanks again!! Xx
