Breastfeeding help
I have a 9 month old who has just in the last 2 weeks gotten her top teeth (already has bottom).
She has bitten down quite badly drawing blood. Also, every time I feed her, every suck is excruciating pain-toe curling pain. I scream in pain. The top teeth are just digging in and bruising my nipples. I've tried a nipple shield but she won't have a bar of it. I've also tried changing positions but it's just as painful. I don't want to give up b'feedibg her!! Any suggestions??

When my twin nephews got their teeth and bit my sister, she would put her finger in their mouth pull them off and not let them feed. She did this every time they bit her. Can you imagine two of them trying to chunk out of your nipples. If they bit her she took them off and offered water in a soppy cup. They soon learnt.

No answer to help but I know exactly what you're going through. My 9.5 month old is getting tooth number 7 and has bitten me so badly on my right that I almost considered giving up feeding.
