Healthy family eating on a budget

Hi lovely Mums,
I was hoping someone might have some meal and snack ideas or websites and pages I could check out please.
I have chronic illness and multiple autoimmune diseases. I am seriously struggling to eat healthy and follow the suggested AIP diet for my illnesses, such a gluten and dairy free. My health is going downhill, but budgeting and lack of know how is holding me back.
I have a family of 4 to feed with a total household budget of $180 a week. This includes nappies, toiletries, cleaners etc and is my absolute maximum I can spend.
I need some help with budget and healthy family meals please!! Prefer gluten free if possible that a fussy 1yr and 4yr old will also eat
Thanks

High fat low carb might have some ideas, they won't really fit the AIP diet but think outside the square. If for instance there's a recipe with eggs and you can't have eggs google substitutes so you can still use the recipe. I don't follow a diet as such but I regularly find and adapt recipes from Just Eat Real Food, I Quit Sugar and The Paleo Recipe Cookbook - Cheap and Easy on FB. I also regularly check for free Paleo ebooks and snap them up before they put the price back on. Sometimes they'll have bullshit exxy ingredients but often they'll be adaptable for a budget. Freeze what you can, I grow some herbs and freeze my crop in ziplock bags, I buy some clearance fresh herbs and freeze them before they wilt. Lemons and Limes on special? Freeze the zest and then freeze slices, I put a slice of frozen lemon or lime and some chilli flakes on my baked fish. Bone in chicken is cheap and you can toss it in a mixture of flour and spices and bake it in the oven. Mince is super easy and versatile, lasagne with zuchini instead of pasta and just the teensiest bit of cheese on top for colour. Meatloaf, chow mein, rissoles packed with grated veg, savoury mince. Even sausages can be used ocassionally a few different ways like cooked in stock, curried sausages, baked sausages. I use a lot of frozen veg, we live in regional queensland and produce here is a bit crappy unless you can get it fresh from the farm so I rely on basic frozen veg (or I buy fresh and prep/freeze it myself). My necessities are a good big pot for soups, savoury mince, spaghetti bolognese, curries etc. A slow cooker for casseroles and stews and a bench top steamer (no shit, mine can steam potatoes in 30 minutes which makes for some easy work night dinners). There will be nights you don't want to cook so when possible buy extra to make a double batch of something and freeze for another night. Good luck, I know your pain - type 2 diabetes here and it seems like an endless struggle.
