Work from home

Hi all,
I was just wanting to ask for advice on legitimate jobs/businesses from home.
Any information on what is successful and where to start would be great.
Preferably something that can be done inside school hours. Unfortunately I do not live in a big area where party planning could be successful so I have already ruled that out.
