How do I fix them,?

My 3 year old is Biting through the bottle teat. He his not ready ( I don't want to listen to the high screams) to be off The bottle, I have tried many times, is there a way to fix the teats, im sick of having to go out every other day to buy new bottles ( they don't just sell the teats anymore)

Is he mature enough to understand that if he bites them he won't be able to have his beloved bottle? Most 3yo understand consequences and while it might be a screaming match for a few days, he should learn pretty quickly not to bite to keep his bottle time. The only other thing I can think of is finding an online wholesale supplier of teats and buying bulk stock off them. Good luck...

3 y/o are old enough to be off of the bottle, you can replace them with sippy cups (which they still have to tip up to drink) or drink bottle that you can tip up.

Once a teat has been bitten through there is no fixing it, you can only replace it. They do sell teats without bottles in the shops you just need to search the shops until you find them.

Is there something wrong with him that he still needs to drink from a bottle? He will only be upset for a day or 2 while he's getting used to a new cup and it's good practice for when he's older so he realises he can't always have his own way.

Just throw all the bottles out. When my nearly 2 year old started doing this I went to big w and bought the cheap $1 bottles and the 3 pack of teats for $1.75. I lasted another month giving her bottles then I decided to throw them all out. She sooked maybe once or twice and has never asked again. She now drinks out of cups or drink bottles.

Its a choking hazard you cant fix it once its broken stop using it and throw it.
i would use this opportunity to change from bottles because it would drive me bonkers constantly buying new ones. I agree with above i think he will get over it quickly. If you cut off the broken part & offer him the broken bottle or a sippy cup, what does he choose?

Don't do it to yourself. You're going to hear a lot of screams for the next 15 years at least. You can't give in, take the tantrum in your stride and trust that you know what is better for him than he does.

Just remember every time you try and don't follow through, it makes him that little bit stronger, thinking that if he screams he gets what he wants, this rings true with them for the next 18 years or so ?The joys of motherhood!!

Yay!! Go you!! Every transition is hard but once you have a few under your belt, you get stronger and more confidence (like they do when they get their way lol).
