Who looks after your sick children?

I'm a single mum with no family or close friends near by. My children get sick often and the germs often get passed between them, meaning it's not unusual for me to have a 4 to 5 days at a time of sick children. I've tried numerous things to boost their immune systems and I thought it would improve as they got older (now 13, 10 and 9) but it hasnt. My question is, who looks after your sick children when you have to work? The odd sick day is manageable but I'm now getting the hard work from my employer because I'm having trouble getting my job done. All I want is to be the one caring for them but I'm also the one that has to earn the money to support them. I'm running out of options.

Have a few babysitters on call as emergency contacts :) it's very hard I understand and a pain to pay someone to do it :(

Find a babysitter (make sure they have a bluecard) in your area, I'm not a single mum but with both my partner and I working it's something I have to do as well at times.

I do, I'm a single parent, I do have my parents but they both work full time, and my mum is sick. Every time I take time off work for him, when he is sick, I get a lecture from my manager, in front of other staff. They knew he existed from the time I was interviewed, as I brought up that he had issues and had monthly appointments, so that if that didn't work for them they knew about it from the start. My mum for the past 15 months has been taking him to his appointments, on her days off (thank god for that) As I was made to feel like I wasn't allowed to take him to his appointments after I started. But if he's to sick to go to school , I stay home
And get calls several times a day, I'm almost ready to quit!!!!!
