Surname change for my girls

So this is a bit complicated i think, i have two beautiful daughters my eldest is 9, her father was inappropriate with her when she was 3 it was invesrigayed and although jirt and police agreed there was something as she was under 5 with no physical evidence so he was not charged but supervised access was put in place, 2 years ago he died of bowel cancer. She has little to no contact with his family. My youngest is 4 i have lefr a very abusive relationship with her father he is currently bail refused as we go through court there is also an avo in place covering the all.of us with a 30km exclusion, she has nevee had any contact with any of his family at all. He is a very very dangerous man. I want to change their surnames to mine i know with my eldest it should be relatively easy but with my youngest i am not sure as from what i have read i need his consent, alao he has 5 precious children all on the care of facs that he isnt allowed to contact. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please.

I have changed names. Not in this circumstance but your eldest will be straight forward. For the youngest I suggest you get the name change forms for the state they were born in and read it and it tells you what you need to do, then do that.
