ive been wanting to start small online shop for awhile now and an opportunity has come up to buy one. The one I'm looking at buying has only been set up a year and done more as a hobby then income so made little money but does have the stockist and website, only a small customer base tho.
Is it worth the drama to buy the shop, change name (current name is hard to say/spell/read) etc or is it easier to start up on my own from scratch?
What is involved in buying a small online shop? My own abn? Start new accounts for the shop? Legal costs involved (it will be under $5000 purchase, no loans needed).
Good websites I can get some informantion from?
I know either way it'll be more a labour of love then a solid income at the start.
To buy small online shop or start my own?

Just start your own. The facebook page and stock is simple. Making money would be important if youre buying and this one doesn't and be prepared because most dont. Look on facebook at how many there are. You really need to find something thats your thing or different to make it work.
