Slow down! She's 3 😂 Just give her pencils and paper and let her do her own thing, although do encourage correct pencil grip at this age. I would be more concerned with speech considering she has hearing loss. That can be a long road so try and get a referral now, even if she is fine for her age now if her hearing loss worsens her speech may not develop properly.
Hi she does see a speach therapist atm
She knows plenty! By the time she starts primary school it's great if they can recognise own name, identify a few letters and count to ten.
Adding and subtracting they don't start until after they start school.
She sounds like she is right where she should be :)
3 year olds definitely do not have the capacity to add or subtract yet that's something they learn at school. It already sounds like she is very clever compared to many other 3 year olds, don't push her too hard :)
Sounds like she's spot on! If she's starting to count, name shapes, can recognise her written name then she's doing well. Read to her, draw with her, colour with her. Count things with her. Just keep doing what you're doing.
Addition and subtraction usually starts being taught in the foundation or first year of school, just FYI 😁
Sounds perfect
My 3yo can count to 13 and sing some of the ABC but doesn’t get the whole thing correct. Knows the basic shapes and most colours. He has recently started with “light” and “dark” of colours. And he can point out the letters that belong in his name.
But he doesn’t always get everything 100% correct and it varies from day to day.
Your girl sounds fine.
