3 or 4 kids?

3 or 4 kids?

Hey ladies, I'm considering trying for a 4th baby. Just wanting to hear back from anyone who has 3 or 4 kids. Why you chose to have only 3 kids or decided to have 4? Financially we are able to and we have a big enough house and car. Just weighing up if we should, and wanting to hear from other mums.

I think if you are unsure, wait a few months or so and see how you feel then. I know a few people who wished they stopped at 2 or 3 kids after they had more. It's best to be 100% sure first :)

I chose to stop at 3 for many reasons but the main ones being these:
1. Finances. We just get by, our kids are provided with all their needs but there's not a lot of room left for wants. It would be selfish to bring on another person to OUR family.
2. Difficult pregnancies - I had HG with my son and debilitating morning sickness with my girls. My babies were big and wreaked havoc on my body (my back is buggered and Gastrointestinal issues/damage from all the vomiting).
3. Mentally coping - I love my kids but someday they push me to my absolute limit. I really don't think I'd cope with 4.
Generally things like finances and rooms, even some health issues etc tend to work themselves out but this one is really essential - it's not just something that gets better/easier over time being able to cope is vital. I've seen too many parents have more kids when they couldn't cope with the ones they had.

As much as I'd love another baby I also don't want another baby equally as much. I know that sounds stupid but my clucky side says
"Go have like 5 more babies"
While my rational side says
"Be sensible, we done!"
So that's how I know haha
