Hi Mummas!
Just a quick but urgent question 🙂
What’s the best thing to use to clean a baby bath that’s been sitting in storage for 2 years?
Also, how long until I should wash baby’s clothes? I’m 37 weeks but feel a bit funny with leaving them sitting in a draw for to long?
Thanks 🙂

I would be washing baby clothes for sure, they're too susceptible as newborns for any germs. I washed them at 33 weeks and popped them straight into his wardrobe or my hospital bag :) I just regularly opened up the wardrobe door and window to allow fresh air in so they didn't go yucky
Baby bath - high pressure cleaner with some dishwash liquid or hot water and leave it to soak :)
Baby bath I’d probably just clean with hot soapy water, or vinegar. Shouldn’t need much.
And I’m pretty sure I started washing clothes at 36 weeks and just took my time going through it all. It’s up to you.
Bath - hot soapy water and elbow grease.
Clothes - as long as they're stored properly, one wash now is more than sufficient!
37 weeks is late to be washing clothes 😯 I had it all done by 30 weeks and lucky too because 2 out of 3 were prem/early. You just don't want to be doing too much late in the pregnancy either. As someone else said open it all up every so often with a window open to freshen it up. I would hose out the baby bath and wash it with baby wash and a cloth, then rinse with hot water and store it upside down so it does not collect dust or bugs.
Soap and hot water for the bath. Wash bub's clothes ASAP. They'll be fine as long as they're completely dry when you put them away.
