I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant and suffering from hemorrhoids. Internal ones I have to keep pushing back inside. I've been using suppositories and cream but am at the 7 day mark now and the box says to not use them any longer. I've been having baths with Epsom salts, been putting witch hazel on, drinking plenty of water & am not constipated. I am seriously terrified of how much worse they are going to end up after I give birth - is there anything anyone can suggest? Any birthing positions that don't put as much pressure on your backside, anything at all? And had anyone ever had treatment for them be it surgery or Injections? What was that like? I'm assuming with how bad they are now I will have to option but to get them fixed properly after I have this baby (our last) Any advice would be very much appreciated, I'm in tears almost every day atm

Oh my god I feel your pain.
Mine were horrible too. I had two under two so I don’t think I ever got a break or have then time to heal from them in between, but my youngest is a couple of years old and they don’t come down anymore besides on the very odd occasion and the cream fixes them immediately. I never had to get them fixed or anything. Just extra careful when going to the toilet not to strain and they’ve eventually just settled down on their own
I had this issue following the birth of my 2nd baby. I was in so much pain. The doctor prescribed cream as well as suppositories to help soften before bowel movements for a week.
Following this process after first treatment I felt instant relief but did continue with the weeks treatment
Because you are currently pregnant I would like to suggest going to doctors first to make sure treatment is safe.
Good luck
I can’t talk for person experience, how ever hubby had surgery for his and has never had them again. Recovery from the op was pretty brutal but 20 years no probs since... he now says short term pain for long term gain
My last baby is 3 and I have them right now!! So painful
