Anyone fallen pregnant after tubal occlusion

I am keen to hear from anyone that has fallen pregnant after having their tubes tied.

I had mine done during a c/s 8 years ago, I am not sure what method was used though , never had any issues, periods have always been normal, have been a few days late on occasion but nothing to be concerned about and have never skipped a period.

I am now 17 days late, and when my period was due I had some spotting when wiping, some bright red, some pink, some brown but didn’t need to use anything and it wasn’t every time I went to the toilet. Have done a HPT that was negative. Will go to the dr if I feel the need to but I just want to know if it has happened.

My sister had the clips, and got pregnant. It is possible although it’s usually an ectopic pregnancy.
You don’t say how old you are but it’s not unusual for periods to become irregular, spotting etc when you hit Peri-menopause.

If you’re tuned we’re cut and burnt during your c-sec the chances are very slim. Not impossible but very slim. I had mine done 5.5 years ago. Haven’t fallen pregnant naturally yet. Clips need to be replaced every 8 years or so. They start to give way after that long. I know a few ladies that have fallen pregnant after clips failed.,
