False Negative HPT??

False Negative HPT??

I am confused... the past few weeks I have had headaches, back pain, increased appetite, fatigue etc I haven't thought too much into it.Tonight my nippels became sore, I have never had this before, with all the other symptoms I decided to do a HPT which was negative, I have always had a steady weight and have recently gained 2kg! If HCG levels are too low to result in a positive the is it normal to have all these symptoms? What else could this be? What would cause a false negative? Any feedback would be great.

If you've been feeling this way for a few weeks then it is very unlikely you're pregnant, for symptoms to appear your HCG would be detectable particularly all this time after. PMS mimics pregnancy symptoms so it is the most likely explanation, however if you're not convinced go and get a blood test :)

Most tests only require a HCG of 25 which is extremely low.

I've gotten a false negative before. Go and see you gp and ask for bloods you may be getting your period too, it's not uncommon for people to gain up to 5kg before and loose it straight away
