Chicken soup - good for the soul?

Ok mummas, the cold and flu season is upon us! Any good chicken and veg/chicken and noodle recipes out there? Tried and tested and preferably slow cooker adaptable?

Michly appreciated!

I literally just chuck two chicken breast in the slow cooker with a bottle of chicken stock and whatever vegetables I have in the fridge. My fav is lots of celery and spinach

Sometimes I will add small pasta or some bean mix for extra filling. But it’s amazing.

I just leave in the slow cooker until the chicken has literally fallen to bits and shred all by itself.

Thanks for this post. It prompted me to use up some chicken legs I had in the freezer

6 cups vegetable stock
3 carrots
4 sticks of celery
1 bay leaf
8 peppercorns
Pinch of salt n pepper
8 chicken legs
2 sprigs of rosemary
Oregano
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of extra Virgin olive oil

Slow cooker on low for 6 hours, pulled the legs out and shredded the meat from the bones and popped the meat back into the slow cooker. DELICIOUS
