Just wondering if anyone has had a colposcopy with a cervical biopsy done. I had one done last week on Thursday. I had no bleeding afterwards and only mild cramping for a few hours. I was due to get my period 3 days ago and it still hasn't turned up. Just wondering if any of you know if the procedure itself can delay the period or if I should maybe be concerned. I haven't rung the doctor yet as I've only just realised that my period is late but I will ring tomorrow morning.

I had the same procedures - not pleasant at all- you are brave. I didn’t experience any issues or differences after mine. To put your mind at ease maybe just call the doctor- no harm.
I don’t think mine was late after I had mine, a day or two early maybe even. But I felt like my period smelt differently after (sorry TMI). To me it smelt like the bleeding after child birth, which smells a bit more metallic and sort of sweeter than a regular period 🤷♀️
Bodies are weird. You might just be a bit more stressed than normal (understandable) and that’s caused the delay. But if you have a number to call I would.
