Is CBD really a best option for Anxiety Problems?

Been having anxiety problems and my friend advised me to try taking CBD oil. I researched the different benefits of CBD and got this http://bit.ly/2RTnFmo for anxiety. Can it really help?

I'm so obsessed right now in finding relief bec. I can't take good care of them properly like I used to do.

It won’t help unless it is actually prescribed by a doctor. Be really careful!

Australia is very strict on this type of thing so anything that isn’t prescribed by a medical professional will not have enough active ingredient in it to be effective!

It would only be placebo.

There are many pyramid schemes out there willing to take your money!

No, I’d be seeing my GP for actual medical advice.
As someone who has anxiety. CBD oil isn’t even on my shortlist. I have exercises and strategies that I use thanks to my psychologist and sometimes I’ve needed medication that’s prescribed.

No. The best outcomes for anxiety management are proven to be from therapy in conjunction with medication where needed.

To have medicinal affect it needs to be the kind that is prescribed by a specialist. That said, it doesn't get prescribed for anxiety and has warnings that it can induce /increase anxiety. In many circumstances you are also required to surrender your driver's licence. My clients prescribed it also say the cognitive deficits are huge (memory, concentration etc).... But for those with extreme pain conditions where no other intervention has assisted, having a mushy brain is worth it. But they really are extreme circumstances /conditions

Self medicating is always gonna send you travelling down a slippery slope, regardless of the substance.

It's easy to buy into the propaganda that CBD oil is going to be this miracle cure. The thing is, there's no easy fix for clinical anxiety. Even prescription meds alone aren't enough. You've gotta put in the hard yards - that means lifestyle changes, therapy, learning your triggers, avoiding the ones you can and finding healthy coping strategies for ones you can't (just as a side note, alcohol and caffeine is an example of mine, for me that's easy to avoid).
You've really got to just tackle it head on and get yourself into a good mindset.

I wish you all the best because i know how debilitating it can be.

I wouldn’t take cbd. I find a probiotic like inner health plus everyday really does help me but most of all u need psychological therapy and if things are too much might be worth a stay for intense therapy at a hospital

Interesting question because I follow a number of CBD pages and this exact question was also posed there and has received almost opposite advice (no surprise). Look this has been something I have been looking at closely for months. The results for pharmaceutical anti anxiety meds are about 30% effective. Obviously no official results for CBD. In Australia it is still restricted drug and most will contain some THC which isn’t really desired. CBD is effective for some and not others due to the way our receptors work. There are risks involved like any drugs (prescription or not) and you need to weigh them up. When treating anxiety with drugs it’s really only bandaid measures. You need to get to the bottom of why you feel this way and get some psychotherapy.
We were in a $450 appointment with my partners psychiatrist last week and I’m going to pass on his advice for free to you “we have not found a better drug or therapy for depression and anxiety than 30 minutes per day of exercise ie power walking, running HIT”.
