Vietnam.. go with a tour company such as gadventures and you’ll have a safe, adventurous trip. They’ll learn so much, especially an appreciation for what they have. When I went last there was quite a few families with children of that age group. It’s also very affordable as meals and drinks are super cheap. I never get why people go to places like Hawaii when it’s so similar to our lifestyle here.. I think if you’re gonna pay that kinda money, give them a culture shock!
Bali don’t let the media put you off, it is a fantastic place for kids. Start off in Sanur as it’s quieter beach area with some shopping and restaurants and book 3-5 nights in the mountains in Ubud.

Ubud - many options from cheap to expensive, try to stay close to the city centre so you can walk to the amazing restaurants and shopping.

New Zealand is an amazing place to discover for all ages. So much natural beauty that we don't have in Aus.
