Just book the whole package through them directly, it's a good deal and includes fastpass daily. Upgrade meals to cover all meals because if you don't the food prices in there are ridiculous.

It was a few years ago... but....

1. It's not that big a park & if you go in a quiet time a day might be sufficient. It depends on if you're looking to enjoy a day at Disneyland because you're there or if it's an important experience for you.
2. Yes to fast passes. It got us on a ride that had been broken down & we sailed past the queue. It's definitely worth it to spend less time in queues!
3. Where to stay. We were staying in Paris so caught the RER out. It wasn't that far we felt the need to change hotels closer to the venue. However, we were just doing it as one fun day to escape the ABC syndrome of European cities!
5. I'd check the website for up to date info on rides ages etc. Do the space mountain coaster. (Not for little kids as it's in the dark.)
4. If you do the It's a Small World ride prepare for that song to haunt you forever. It still pops into my mind & drives me insane!!

I didnt got to Disneyland when I went to Paris, but I can offer some other advice about Paris....

Do not sign anything when you arrive. unless its at your hotel...
Do not buy anything from the street sellers that set up on the sidewalks...they are illegal immigrants.
Watch out for your bags, there are pick pockets everywhere - we saw groups working together to distract tourists...

Apart from that the people are lovely, but tell them you are from Australia, not from the UK. Apparently they dont like the British....
