I’m a first time mum and this might be a stupid question but I really just don’t know . I want to put my son into preschool. He turns 3 this year so wanted to start him in 2021. Are there still preschool centres or is it just day care? I really want something that is just 3-6yo with school hours. I live in the Blacktown area.

Marayong preschool!! It is the best. Just a preschool, not a day care. The staff are amazing. Look them up in Facebook. I’m a mum of 5 so I’ve seen my share of daycares, FDC, preschool. Marayong is fabulous. Give Julie the director a call
Yes, most places have community based preschools that aren't "day care" centres as well. Here where I am, in VIC, We have a 3yo preschool program which is only 3 hrs a week and then a 4yo program for 15hrs a week. But each place is different from my experience
