I’m currently pregnant with bub number 3. I had so much trouble breastfeeding my first two that both times I only lasted between 2-4 weeks. I tried hard with my second one but I just couldn’t do it.
I think ultimately it came down to not enough knowledge and advice on breastfeeding. Both times I had a great supply so that was never an issue.
I so badly want to be able to feed my last baby, I’ve always just loved that bond. What advice, tips and tricks to successfully breastfeed do you recommend? Anything to do prior to the lead up to birth to get ready?
Thanks Mumma’s xx

Go you mumma wanting to do your best!!
My advice would be, see if you can connect with a good Lactation consultant (LC) (if you are anywhere near Toowoomba, I can recommend an absolutely amazing lady). They can be an amazing start and support service, both before and once bubs comes. It can (unfortunately) be a bit hit and miss with LC’s, so even see if there are any local mums pages you can ask on for advice on who helped them.
Breastfeeding is such an amazing thing, and so personal too. My experience has been so drastically different between my two, and without my LC I wouldn’t have made it with either of my two babies (first had major supply issues, second had major tounge tie and lip tie issues so she couldn’t latch properly at all). Try and find a board certified one if you can.
And good luck!!!
