Starting a new job

I'm about to get a job. I'm beyond excited as I havnt worked for 6 years. I chose to raise my daughter full time on my own. I don't regret it one bit. But it's time now to go back. I'm nervous as hell I've never worked and been mum. To run a house and pick a child up from school. To be back out in the world talking to people all day.
I suffer from mental illness, I've been on the DSP for quite some time now. I was on it before I had my daughter also. I've done a lot of therapy a few hospital stays, I know I'm stronger now but still so nervous I could vomit.
My daughter has special needs she's a full time job most days.
My question is first how do I try and make my self not so nervous about working and mingling with people?
And second how does earning money go when being on centerlink. I'm on the DSP along with FTB A and B (no child support) and carer's allowance and rent assistant. All up it's about $700 a week. I know it's a lot but I want to be independent again. I will obviously loose this. Or will I keep some of the benefits? I've head you can work a certain amount of hours before you loose anything?
I have so much going on in my head right now. Can any one help me before I try and deal with centerlink. TIA

You really need to check the website carefully and speak to Centrelink as the rules for DIsability pensions are different.
You have a limit on how much you can work on DSP. Please check that out carefully. You need to weigh up the hours you work versus being transferred to the new jobseeker as I’m sure you remember there are a lot of hoops to jump through to get back onto DSP and it’s incredibly stressful.
