Nursing Study

Hi Nurse Mums - I’m after some direction please 😁
Located in QLD; I’m looking into studying nursing BUT want to take a soft entry approach, as it’s been years since I studied and having 3 small kids at home full time seems daunting.

Question 1
What’s the best first step for me?
Doing a STEPS program through the QLD Uni to get me prepared?
Or enrol into a Cert 3 level course like Health Service Assistance or Individual Support or something like that where I can get a taste of study and also ensure i can do it?

Question 2
I achieved really good grades at school and have held some very challenging/complex jobs over the past 20yrs, so the learning aspect isn’t a problem - but I’m TERRIBLE with maths and numbers 😭
Will I struggle immensely trying to do nursing if I struggle with maths?

So much self doubt it’s crippling me.
Thank you
