Would anyone please have any websites they can suggest or recipes to make for someone with a broken jaw?
The breaks are quite severe so after surgery he will only be able to eat pureed food for 2 months. He will not eat pureed meat and veg etc. Will need to be soups, stews etc.
He works a very physical job walking hills for about 10hours a day, so he needs to make sure he is getting enough energy and nutrients from these pured meals to sustain him for the day. Thanks 😊

Shakes? The reputable ones have everything thats needed in the day, he would just need to find one that suits his body and lifestyle. I would ask your doctor/dietician/pharmacist what they recommend.
I wouldnt eat regular meals pureed up either. Stick with soups, fresh juice, fruit and yoghurt loaded shakes. Avo and choc shake. Try up and go for work snacks.
Potato and leek soup is a good carb packed meal.
I add bacon and garlic to mine to give extra flavour and then pour thickened cream in before blitzing.
Pumpkin soup, add in some bacon, garlic and a tin of tomatoes for more flavour.
Up & Go in the morning.
Shakes - frozen mango, banana, apple juice, skim milk and some maple syrup. Switch it up and add in some chocolate protein powder, spinach, strawberries etc.
When I had jaw surgery the nutritionist recommended sustagen as a chocolate milk drink I used to eat with plenty of vitamins and minerals.
