Im at the end of trying to figure out what is wrong with me. I've seen many drs that fob me off or just do tests that other drs have ready done, im going around in circles. I get bloated to the extreme that I look 6 months or more pregnant. Now its at the point my back is starting to hurt. My stomach is rock hard. Today I havnt been able to move. My 5 year old has helped me dress my self and looked after us. Shes helped me shower and all.
She got upset before because she wanted a nice day out and I wouldn't do it. I feel guilty beyond words
I've been tested for coeliac disease and gluten intolerance which im not. I've had ultrasounds and X-rays.
I had a bad eating disorder when I was a teenager and since that I've never had regular periods or ones that are heavy or last more than a day or two. So because of that I don't think it could be endometriosis, ive asked for this to be tested by the drs don't let me.
Today is the first real day its effected me. I've cried all day. I look and walk like im pregnant. I don't have sex so that's not possible.
I was invited to a BBQ tonight with a bunch of people but I can't go like this. I couldn't bring my self to even go to Coles this morning
It comes and goes. But when it comes its painful and is only getting bigger.
I just feel so fat and gross.
What should I do to try and get to the bottom of this. Or has any one ever had anything like this?

Have you been tested for PCOS? Irregular perils and weight gain go hand in hand with PCOS.
Also have you tried doing an elimination diet under the supervision of a dietitian?
I would try to be really healthy, eat really healthy for 4 weeks, drink only water to flush you out, and walk 4 times a week and find a little exercise or stretching routine online to do at home daily. Have the odd slight cheat dinner to keep you going no big blow out, but just for four weeks and you could be feeling different and working from a different place.
I would request surgery to see if you have Endo!
Go to a gastroenterologist for colonoscopy and endoscope!
How are your bowels working?
Are you constipated?
Maybe you need some regular laxatives?
I would look into that before having invasive tests?
It sounds like it’s wind too, being hard.
Naturopath helped me more than any doctor. I finally had answers and my bloating/inflammation was caused by food intolerance
Don’t want to be an alarmist but Get checked for Ovarian Cancer ... it has many symptoms like bloating , back pain , nausea , feeling generally unwell
You may have an intolerance, just because you aren’t celiac doesn’t mean you aren’t intolerant. Have you been checked for ovarian cancer in your scans? you’d think it’s the first thing they would have checked. Ask for a referral to a gastroentologist and request a colonoscopy and endoscopy / gastrophy. I’ve been having issues for the last few years too and it’s been painful and drs don’t listen. I paid and went private for my tests and also asked the private to bulk bill what they could as I was in pain and desperate for it and couldn’t afford what they wanted and they allowed part of it to be bulk billed so I ended up paying half. don’t give up. Try cut out gluten and lactose and see how you feel. drink water and eat fish, veggies and fresh salad see if that helps. eat small meals more regularly.
Go and get some prune lax see if that helps, it may be something as simple as trapped wind. Please make sure they rule out ovarian cancer. I’m sure it would have showed in your scans already done as this would have been their first thing to check you’d hope.
No advice but you aren't alone! Currently laying on couch unable to move dying to go to the loo but can't get up it hurts so much I just fell back down.
Waiting for my partner to finish shower and help me go.
Has gastroparesis been ruled out?
This is very common amongst those who have suffered anorexia and can cause bloating and stomach distention. This is something I suffer with, I have had anorexia since my teen years, when I do eat I become so bloated, my stomach becomes very hard and distented.
I know you said your eating disorders was when you were younger but eating disorders can really cause alot of long lasting damage to your body, I would look into seeing a doctor who is knowledgeable in eating disorders.
