Ever since my 7 year old child has returned to school after months and months of home learning last year, he seems to be getting sick every two weeks! Nothing severe, just a cold, but obviously staying home until well each time. None of my other children or myself are getting sick. Is anyone else having this problem since returning from home learning?
I have taken him to the doctor because I was worried about how frequently he was catching colds but the doctor was not concerned, and said it may also be allergies. He is missing so much school!

I think it was inevitable. Being in isolation meant that we didn’t get exposed to small illnesses, that may have not even made us sick. So our immune systems didn’t have to build in that time. Maybe look into some immune support vitamins etc for him. His little system is overwhelmed atm.
Yep :(
6 weeks straight of illness..
gastro, RSV, bronchiolitis and tonsilitis. Literally hasn't been a day where she wasn't sick and she finally felt well, attended class and immediately sick the following day.
Oh no! Thats awful. You poor things! Xx
That was my kids before distance education! We have continued it and they haven’t been anywhere near as sick. Get iron levels checked especially ferritin as kids get sick very easily with even small iron deficiency!
