This was me until I got sick and couldn’t eat much. Once I felt well enough, I couldn’t stand junk. I do have it now and there but nothing like I did. I make myself walk every morning or evening. I get a fresh juice while I’m out on my walk and have a small lunch, mixed salad mostly. and most nights salmon with steamed veggies or you can have some grilled chicken. I find keeping it fresh with some protein, I lose it. Drink plenty of water. Try hypnotherapy, that was going to be my next step
I always find it takes a whole change. Change of routine and habits, change of mindset. If im exercising and upping my water Im less inclined to wreck that with a binge.
Change the late night habit. Buy a treat in mini size and save it. Only buy one. Have a hot chocolate. Or a cup of tea. Google low calorie treats. Plan it and look forward to it. Some nights dont, so you break the habit. Have it earlier so you break that late night munchies habit.
Ketogenic lifestyle. You're rarely hungry as you always feel full while losing weight and keeping it off

Sounds like you need to figure out what purpose the junk is serving - is it emotional, physical, boredom, other poor eating habits which mean you get too hungry and desperate to eat?
It might be worth investigating with a counsellor or psychologist.
Personally I find eating more protein and keeping my fibre intake up helps curb my cravings for junk because I feel properly full and satisfied.
My work pants being too tight was my turning point.
I joined Weight Watchers and have lost 7kg, my friend has lost 20kg.
It's hard work but meals are delicious. It really makes you realise there are so many bad foods you are putting in your mouth - also so many alternative healthy options that help in your weight loss journey. Also try a walk each day and go that bit further each time.
Good luck
I had tried so many diets over the year, lost weight then put it all back on plus some. I got a referral from my GP to see a dietician as part of an allied health plan as being overweight was contributing to other health issues, and started seeing an amazing Dietician 9 months ago. With her guidance I've made gradual adjustments that have been easy to maintain and I've lost nearly 20 kgs. I used to see her fortnightly, now monthly. She keeps me on track and accountable, it's been great, and it's NOT a diet. It's kind of counselling/life coaching/nutritional advice... Well worth it. I'll never need a 'fad' diet again.
