Hi everyone,
Just needing some advice, hopefully positive..
Two days ago, the day my period was due, I found out I was pregnant, I am 4 weeks today.
This morning I have woken to bleeding, it is not heavy, but more than spotting, no clots, resembles a light period. Red in colour...
I have had miscarriages before but never this early.. Could this be implantation bleeding? I am monitoring it over the next day or two to see whether the bleeding gets heavier or lighter..
This will be my 6th pregnancy and I've never had implantation with any others so I'm unsure..
Looking for similar experiences and what situation you ended up with.
Thank you ❤️

Unfortunately for me it meant an early miscarriage but I have heard plenty of stories of others who have bleeding during early pregnancy and go on to have a healthy baby. I would make an appointment with your Dr if not already.
My bleeding early this pregnancy was due to a subchorionic hematoma. I had spotting from 4-9 weeks. It was picked up at an early 7 week scan and had resolved itself by my 12 weeks scan. I am now 26 weeks. Contacting your dr is your best starting point. Good luck
It could be implantation bleeding. My son was conceived through IVF and I had light spotting 4 days before I was due to take a pregnancy test. I presumed the worst but still did the test on day 14. It showed a feint positive. Blood test 2 days later confirmed I was pregnant. Bleeding continued up until week 14. Ultrasound at week 12 showed that my placenta was lying low which could of caused the bleeding. The pregnancy progressed as normal and my son was born beech by emergency c-section at 34 weeks after he kicked the crap out of the placenta causing it to rupture.
Get a blood test done ASAP to check your HCG levels.
I had a missed miscarriage around 11 weeks pregnant. My baby had stopped growing about 5/6 weeks pregnant. My miscarriage started with light red bleeding, like you have described, that unfortunately got heavier later in the evening until I started having contraction like pain during the night and very heavy bleeding the next day.
You should probably see your doctor for bloods and an ultrasound in the next couple of days. All the best xxx
Im in my 3rd pregnancy currently and had light bleeding with all.3 . Pregnancies. I have 2 healthy children and ultrasound showing so far so good with this one too. It's scary and you should definitely go see a doctor but bleeding in first trimester is very common.
I’ve had both a miscarriage with early bleeding at around 4 weeks . Then this pregnancy I had bleeding /spotting from 5 weeks to 7 weeks it was a hematoma. It resolved its self by the time I was 10weeks . Now 14 weeks and everything is fine . I also had very mild bleeding with my first daughter at 8weeks everything was also fine she’s a healthy 5year old now . Best thing to do is go and get extra bloods to make sure your levels are increasing .
