What are your afternoon/weekend snacks for your kids? I need something that’s relatively easy and something that will fill their hungry bellies. Thankyou

I get the coles Vietnamese rolls for $2 for 6 and some cold meats, cut them up and make little subway platters for them. It’s cheap and filling. I make ham and cheese, salami, roast beef, cheese and pickles. I just do a variety with what I have. I find this is the cheapest and most filling for them. Or make small platter with cheese, aldi crackers and salami. $1.99 for salami packet at aldi crackers 90 cents, and cheese which i aways buy a large block.i also buy large tub of hummus at aldi. It’s great served with any of these things or Carrots and celery.
If you're into cooking/baking, check out One Handed Cooks. They have great recipes that are child friendly and pretty simple to make.
piece of fruit and wait for dinner. Cut off time for afternoon tea is 4pm, so if they have sports etc, they pack it in their lunchbox so they can have it at 3pm.
