Vaginal fistula

Please help!

Hello all, does anyone have experience with vaginal fistula?

I suspect I have one, caused by a bowel disease. My concern is if I have surgery to fix it, is it fixed forever? Is it safe to have natural labour after its been 'fixed' or does it create complications? Can you go on to have babies after vaginal fistula surgery?

Please, any info, experience or advice you have on this topic please share I really appreciate it! I am feeling so scared if I have one and don't have many women my life to talk about it. I'm going to see my doctor in a few days to talk it through. But I feel so scared. Thank you all for any help.
