What do you wear when doing life admin?

What do you wear for every day life? I’m talking errands, kids swimming lessons, cleaning the house, popping to the shops for groceries etc I’m about 15kgs overweight so find things like jeans not comfy to wear as every day clothes. But then want to be a bit more fashionable than just wearing active wear every single day!

I wear dresses. Love a dress. Have a different one for everyday of the week.

Love a nice comfy dress that I can whack my bra off when I’m at home without having to get fully changed

Good quality high rise, shapewear jeans are a game changer. Don't rule them out. I'm 40kgs over and spend a lot of time in jeans.
Also, in this weather I'll put a cute little miniskirt over leggings. Linen or linen blend pants. Tops are simple scoop neck or v neck long sleeve tees in complimentary colours dressed up with a scarf.
Maxi dresses, long tunic tops with leggings or thigh length dresses with leggings are also regulars.
Funky belts, trendy sneakers, costume jewellery all add a bit of something to a simple outfit.
I'm a Kmart shopper, my jeans I buy on sale from City Chic and shoes on sale from Platypus.
Not for cleaning though. That is done in my old jeans with the crotch wearing thin and stained tee shirt.

To you and OP. How can you say 40kgs overweight? Is this based on a number you decided you need to be?
Did you know, that you’re perfect as you are? You are always worthy! You are always beautiful! Lose weight because it affects your health, don’t lose weight because you feel you NEED to be a certain number. Or because society says you should be a size 8.
Be proud of you 💜

So because a woman knows she's overweight you automatically assume she feels bad about herself? That's a little patronising...
This commenter mentioned nothing about weightloss or self worth.

OP. As someone who's also carrying some extra weight, I love a good pair of jeggings. I'm not opposed to plain black leggings with a tunic or long top and cute sneakers. A denim jacket is a good way to smarten up pretty much any outfit too.

Based on long standing scientific knowledge and my body composition...
I'm not ashamed of being overweight, I'm not hiding myself away out of embarrassment. Are we not permitted to understand and accept being overweight by today's PC "rules".
I know damned well I'm worthy. Beauty means nothing to me, the inside does and as a person I'm pretty awesome. I don't need to be validated by a random on the internet any more than I need to be questioned on my understanding of my weight.
Thanks for making it an issue though.
My point was only to the OP so she knew being just a little overweight didn't mean jeans had to be uncomfortable, if she wanted the convenience and versality of wearing them to look around for a better fit.

I wear black leggings a lot… I often wear jeans out (or in summer I wear denim shorts or 3/4 pants) and then put leggings back on as soon as I get home… or I just wear the leggings out if I’m busy and can’t be bothered with jeans. I’m 12 kgs over according to BMI
