mesenteric adenitis

Hi Ladies, there was a post on here a few days ago and people were commenting about mesenteric adenitis and their children having had it. My daughter has had it before and currently has it but not for this long. We are booked in for another scan but its not for another week. My question/concern is she has had alot of time off school. how have you dealt with it? do they go while they have it? She is taking nerophen and panadol plus a antinausea when she needs it. The school has said to get a medical certificate for when shes not at school but I cant keep running to the Dr's to get 1 as no appts or I have to work and cant get there. Mornings seem to be the worst for her too often waking up with a bellyache so she has missed ALOT of school. Am I being too soft??
