Kids in cars

How do you stop psycho a$$ kids (11,9,8) from bickering in the car? Both verbally and physically, no where else to move them... what do you do? .......... asking for a friend

My kids have the exact same age gap (they're 14, 12 and 11 now though).
At that age they were punished severely with a loss of priveleges for acting up in the car because they were old enough to understand the gravity of distraction behind the wheel, they just didn't care.

It took a few missed birthday parties, play dates and other fun activities for them to get the message but it sunk in after they realised i wasn't playing!

When my cousins were this age (going back a couple decades haha)
My aunty was so fed up with the bickering when driving out in the middle of whoop whoop, she pulled over and yelled at the kids to get out. They did. She drove off. Scared the shit out of them. She stopped up the road a bit. The kids git back in. She said if you ever fight in the car again, I'm not stopping....apparently it worked.
Obviously I don't recommend that approach but hands up whose been tempted hahahaha 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

I have stopped the car so many times and just refuse to move until they are quiet! Sometimes it's finding out which 2 are the most likely to start fighting if next to each other and keep them separated. I absolutely loved my kia carnival for this they could all spread out and not be on top of each other, no fights!!

I did have a 7 seat, however I lost it in the floods and got a 5 seater given I was now single and the eldest is an adult (less repayments) Worst idea ever!
They take turns in the front, it's the 11 and 9yo who fight.
