What does everyone do for a living?
Is there a way to earn $1000+ a week during school hours, no nights or weekends?
9-5 is actually so hard! No flexibility. I’m never there for the kids through the week, can’t do after school activities and on school holidays I’m trying to find other people to look after them. Most things I need to get done are open 9-5 also. I just hate it!
How are you supposed to keep the cup full for everyone? Husband is needy. Basically wants more of my attention than the kids do and gets the shits if he doesn’t get it. Dinners, groceries, school activities… argh the list goes on and on!
What does everyone do to balance this and earn a decent wage to get ahead other than run away?!

To earn exactly $1000 a week before tax at 30 hours a week (school hours) you will need to find a job that pays $33 an hour. Would it be possible for you to work earlier in the morning and finish earlier? If not don't stress too much about after school activities I think they are overrated and unless your child has an absolute passion for the activity it won't do them any good. We're guilt tripped into everything, time to fight back lol.
I work as a housekeeping supervisor on the Sunshine Coast. I work 4 days a week 9-2 including every second weekend getting $33/hr plus penalties on the weekend. Plenty of work in this field. I use to work in admin working more hours for less money.
Sounds like the problem isn't your job...
Why isn't hubby pulling his weight if you both work FT and need the extra income? He's equally responsible for kids, household and everything else. Why is he being "needy" and "demanding" when you're already working your arse off?
