3rd birth / labour with big age gap , was it quick or long?

How was your third birth with big age gap between? Easier or harder ?

I have 2 kids 12 and 13 and a half, pregnant eith 3rd

1st birth very long , 30 hrs, 2nd birth that was only 17 months later, easy, quick. I'm wonderong the likelyhood of easy and quick again or maybe possible it can be like my 1st very long. Because of the age gap..

I thought it may be quicker than 2nd but spoke to a lady who had same age gap and labour was much like 1st, long.

I know its individual.... just keen to know others who had similar big age gaps and if birth was quick like others or long :)

Thanks

My 3rd was so fast that I birthed her in the hospital car park. From beginning to end it was just 50mins. I've had 8 kids and she was by far my quickest.

I have a close age gap and my third labour stalled and was longer than my first after quick #2. My dr always said the third will be the turd πŸ˜‚ honestly births are different though and it’s impossible to know how your labour will go

I only have 2 so can't comment on the 3rd but my mum had my brother (her 3rd) in like 10 minutes lol she said he was the easiest birth ever πŸ˜… she was out of hospital the same day and even stopped in to do some Christmas shopping on the way home.

My third was longer than my first 2 and I had them all close so it went against the general rule of births getting quicker. I think what makes it happen faster (and this is personal experience and from those I know so it's just my opinion) is how active you are during pregnancy and labour, also where baby is positioned and whether your waters break first. If baby is sitting where it's meant to be and putting the weight down on the cervix then you get stronger contractions, dilating quicker.

I have 5, all induced because of a bicornuate uterus and unstable lie. and 3rd was easiest, drug free. 2.5 year gap between 2&3. 4 was a 9 year gap large baby and was hell! 5 was also hell but had a hand on top of her head.

I've only had 1. It was 3 days start to finish. IE OBGYN did a stretch and sweep on the Friday. I started contractions Saturday, but nothing I thought hospital worthy. But my waters were broken on a planned induction on the Monday.

I asked my mother. Her third baby was an hour. She got into the car, got to the hospital, was on the bed nd the dr walked out of the room saying maybe a few hours. No one was there to catch my sister and dad was asking if he could attend a meeting.

I had a 10 year age gap between my 2nd and 3rd, it was absolutely nothing like the other 2, I was in active labour for 17hrs with the first, 2.5 hrs with the 2nd and 1.5 hrs with the 3rd I progressed really quick with the 3rd and lucky I got to the hospital in time.
