Hey ladies - newly having loads of sex 😂🙈 and I’ve noticed a lump near the opening of my vagina … I am fairly sure is a Bartholin's cyst… yes only doctor google so far - can’t get a gp appt for 2 weeks …has anyone experienced this? Does it go away on its own? Any tips or hints on how I can get relief in the mean time?

I wouldn't do anything to it until you confirm what it actually is.
Surely you can get an appointment somewhere before then even if it's not your usual GP or you have to travel out of town?
Yeah, I'd be getting it checked ASAP, especially as it is a new partner.
I would also stop having sex in the meantime.
Yes! OP please go and get an appointment at a different doctor asap. Unless you live hundreds of km from the nearest doctor this should be doable.
Yer na don’t listen to Dr google & get into a medical centre asap prob more like a STD if you aren’t protected. Go and rule it out if you haven’t been protected and in the meantime make sure you stop with this partner and suss out if he hasn’t any STD’s also in future, let this be a reminder for you if it is. Hopefully it’s not but it sounds like it.
Yes obviously see a dr.
But to relief pain in the meantime, regular Panadol/nurofen tablets and try a warm clean compress on the area. To temporarily relieve any pain from the site.
Sitting in a warm bath with witch hazel may help, but I’d speak to a chemist first just to make sure you’re not upsetting the PH in the vagina.
I’d speak to a chemist/pharmacist if you can’t get into a Dr right away, they can guide you on what to use to relieve any pain, itching, rash etc in the meantime waiting for a dr.
If pain persists, go straight to emergency.
Warm shallow baths, plain water, a few times a day until you get it seen to.
If it's very painful it's likely infected so don't dawdle getting in to see about it.
I was referred by my Dr to emergency and had to sit there most of the day waiting to be seen.
Oh me!! Have ended up in hospital about 6 times due to the little buggers. Warm salty baths are great. But go get antibiotics asap!
I ended up having a "lady gland" removed because they kept coming back.
