What do I do??
I've walked in on my 9 year old using my massage gun down their....
She was quick to move and pretend she was using on her leg but it's not the first time it's happened! I've just ignored it but it's getting more frequent.
Do I address it with her?
I haven't told my husband, I think he'd be devastated he still thinks of her as a little girl and so do I!
I don't want her to feel ashamed in any way it's her body, but I have no idea what to say.
Help!

Firstly, learn to knock... no I'm not having a go, I used to just walk in too, but at her age, it's time to start knocking.
When it comes to touching herself, it's normal. If she's doing it in the privacy of her own room, so be it. But perhaps ask her not to use your massager, time to buy yourself a new one.
You don't need to tell your husband or talk to her.
I really hope this isn't some sicko writing all these pre teen sex exploration posts because they're becoming pretty frequent lately! It happened on another parenting forum i was on a few years ago and the posts turned explicit. Just think we should all be aware and be very careful with replies.
Eee I never thought of that but the title is teen then has 9 years old. Any parent knows that a 9 year old isn’t a teen. Thanks for the heads up. There is def some sickos out there.
Pre teen sorry. It’s probably a genuine post but it’s good to be aware.
My biggest concern would be her injuring herself. Those massage guns are not designed for intimate use, they're designed for deep tissue massage.
I think I'd probably just have a chat about using the massage gun appropriately and respecting other people's property as the gun is yours.
Definitely agree with the above comment about knocking and privacy too.
I don't know how she would of gotten the idea about the massager from. That's a strange thing for a 9 year old child to figure out on her own.
I'd talk to her. Something isn't kosher with this post.
