Hi, I hope someone can help and thank you for posting…
I uploaded the Partner Details form to MyGov on the 6th of April. But when I go on my profile it hasn’t registered the change in relationship status.
How long does it usually take?
I’m trying to do the right thing. I don’t want to owe money.
Thanks for your insights.

Give them a ring and find out if they've actually received it, get the receipt number for the call. But usually for things that need a human to verify it generally takes about 6 weeks, so it could be just sitting there waiting but I would still ring and double check.
It can take upto 6-10 weeks for any changes to be processed. Start putting money away, as they will expect it back. I'd also call them to chase it up. I ended up owing 100's, and paid it back fortnightly because I didn't realise it took so long.
I would follow up and continue to do so until it has been processed. This happened to me, it took centrelink months to process my forms, I followed up multiple times via phone and going in to a centre in person, I was told not to sort out my payments until the paperwork had been processed. They finally processed my paperwork after over 6 months and then turned around and stung me for a huge overpayment (which I have now contested and so far have been waiting 6 months for them to process that!)
Keep on top of them to process it! Even ring the complaints line. I ended up with a huge debt because it took them months. They only processed it once I submitted a complaint.
