Hi everyone,
Partner and I have been thinking about getting a will sorted, before we go talk to a lawyer we have be discussing/ writing up who we are going to be leaving our asset's to which most of it will all go to my daughter. We have no other children.
Partner and I have been married for about 2 years now and been together for 5.
My daughter is going on 10 years old. He is the only father that had been in her life. Bio dad left when she was 2 months old and we haven't seen him since. No contact either. My question is what happenes if I die, who will our daughter go to? Can I put something in place where she doesn't go to bio dad. Just looking for other people experiences and suggestions.
Thank you!
If I die who will my daughter go to.

Probably a question for the lawyer if you're seeing one anyway.
My family member passed away, her toddler stayed with her fiancé, the dad. Her oldest child went to his bio dad, who is very inconsistent in his child’s life and in and out of jail. His step dad and sibling still see him regularly but bio dad has 100% custody.
