Tonight my 14 year old made dinner and she cooked me up a hotdog with mac and cheese, mustard and A1 sauce. I was like huh...but it was delicious π then I remember the sorts of food combos I came up with when I was a teenager haha. What do your teens come up with when they cook dinner?

Tacos, nachos, burritos, hot dogs, Mac and cheese, curried sausages, burgers, paella. My rule has always been to let me know a week in advance if they want to try something knew, so Iβve got time to get any ingredients we do t already have.
My 18 year old son moved out last week. Heβs been cooking lots of different things that he never cooked while living at home.
That all sounds so yummy and it's great he's trying different things too π
My 11 year old loves Ravioli, spaghetti, bakes cakes, loves to do gourmet burgers, fish salad and tartare/aoli sauce wraps, can do basic meat and veggie meals and makes some mean shaker fries π She enjoys cookingβ¦
That's great that she enjoys cooking! Spaghetti is a must to know how to cook hahaha, that's our "safe" meal that I always know everyone will eat at all times π
My boys make burgers, hotdogs, Pizza from scratch, spag bol, stir fry, toasties. They will do normal meals if I'm stuck somewhere or something but when they are cooking they can cook whatever they want. It's about learning and cooking food they like. My daughter used to go overboard and make her own pasta and fancy food because she likes cooking but it wasn't expected and I certainly don't do that because I don't like a huge mess from dinner.
